Now You Lift Your Eyes To The Sun

let me start by saying I am a helplessly lazy ass girl when it comes to holiday. Okay, no. I'm fibbing. I am generally a lazy ass girl which just shows my tendency to procascinate all the time. I can't remember who but there was this author who listed her job on twitter as world-class procascinator and I thought, wow. If there were such thing, I'd aced at it.

Anyway, as I was saying. I'm helpless during holidays. I do nothing but laze and lounge around in the house probably gaining an extra 5 kg which goes completely against my holiday resolution which is ironically, to LOSE 5 kg. Sad, yes. My life is.

I spent the first 2 week just screaming around at my brothers to clean up the house and please please just for god's sake, don't mess around when I just cleaned it up 5 minutes ago. And in that span of 2 weeks, my little brother came up with a lot of nicknames for me. Which I would not list out here because Im not one to dwell on the past. Plus, some of it still stings. *sighs dramatically*

two days before new moon came out, i ordered most of the tickets i could get for 5 days. I'm just obsessive like that. I know I know. Its such a bad thing to do. Others are trying to book the ticket and actually go to the cinema and get it. I just like to get my alternatives straight just in case someone came up to me and said hey lets watch new moon and i can say hey! I've got the tickets. Be prepared, its the best advice in life.

And guess, what? Someone did came up and asked me! I went to watch on the third day and we didn't even end up using the tickets I booked. HAHA. Well, there's always next time.

I have mixed feelings over the movie. AND YES, I was cursing when stupid dgnoego edhgo hod SAM ULEY came out. hfohgbog hohdhfoho. I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU SAM ULEY FOR BREAKING LEAH'S HEART, IMPRINT OR NOT! I DON'T CARE!! e^@$#@$#^&^(*^*%#%^#

Back to New Moon.

The action could have been cooler. Come on, Chris Weitz. I've seen The Golden Compasses. What happened? But all in all, it's okay. I can't wait for Eclipse though. Don't cut Leah out of it, Melissa Rosenberg. (I think that's the screenwriter's name) LEAH IS THE BOMB and if you're wondering why I'm getting all worked up over her, it's because BETRAYAL disgust me. It's sickening. GOSH.

This week I nursed myself with high dosage of dvds. and 11 mangas. MUHUHHAHAHAHAH.

(Okay I know the statement does not call for an evil laugh but I'm just weird like that. Get over it)
I watched Lions For Lambs 4 times because its too inspirational for my own good. It makes me want to be a Senator. (that just reminds me of Senator Robert McCalister. I love you. Forever)

Alice Upside Down, Skins Season 3, One Tree Hill Season 1& 4, Eagle Eye, Seven Pounds, The Duchess and Hana Yori Dango are just a few of the dvds I watched this week.

I borrowed Hana Yori from my Japan-obsessed cousin. She's also the source for all the 11 mangas. The mangas just made me fall in love with Motomi Kyousuke all over. I love youu. And yes, I did some amateur sketching after marvelling over all those beautiful drawings but it's really really bad. I want wonder hands! :(

For the umpteenth time, I read Socrates In Love manga and cried like a baby. I want to read the actual novel which I think is going to be more heartbreaking and I'm in the mood of bawling my eyes out this holiday.

Speaking of which, I couldn't hold myself any longer and wait for my dad to print out Catching Fire so I just read the E-book. And just writing this is making me cry because I now, so so so badly want to hold it in my hands. Feel the paper, read the words from ink. I LOVE SUZANNE COLLINS. If she was right in front of me right now, I will grab her face and kiss her with all my might. I want to make everyone read The Hunger Games trilogy if I could. How can you not love it? I know most people gave it a chance because of that Stephenie Meyer blurb but I was more interested with the Stephen King's. Come on man. Stephen King loves the book. Stephen King, who already sold movie rights for his new book two weeks before its even out? COME ON. Catching Fire's suspense kills me. And the conclusion was way off my expectation. I can't believe it. And the Game was whoah. Intense.

I cried along reading this book and I know how everyone is crazy over Peeta but my heart's Gale since the first book. GALE GALE GALE. I want to do a fan page for Gale. I love Gale. Peeta's sweet too. I love him too. Gosh. This is the hardest thing. I can't make up my decision. They're both so so wonderful, in different ways. I guess Peeta's stronger but Gale, it's just. This is too painful. This is what Suzanne Collins have done to me. She has torn me apart.

You can ignore the last paragraph if you want if it doesn't make sense. Just so you know, I love The Hunger Games trilogy and you are missing out in life.

I dn't feel like blogging anymore. I want to read about Gale again. and again and again.

Let me end with this quote from OTH :
“Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swamps of the not quite, the not yet, and the not at all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach. The world you desire can be won. It exists. It is real. It is possible. It is yours.
- Ayn Rand”

The Hunger Games. This is way late a reply, but I'm new. So allow me! =)
Is it good? Never heard of it up in London, but if it's like crime/thriller/John Grisham/Sidney Sheldon kind of thing, I might just go and read them... Let me know! I'm taking a gap year this year, so I'm pretty much bored when I'm not doing my part-time job... take care... btw, loving the blogs, Imma keep on reading.
